About Us
Siv Harstad
Siv is a motivational speaker, expedition leader and author whose philosophy is to inspire and motivate people to Dream Big in their life. After surviving Nepal's 2015 major earthquake, resilience and determination led her back to Everest, making her the the first Norwegian woman to climb Mount Everest from the Nepali side.
Growing up on a small sheep farm on the west coast of Norway with a family of entrepreneurs, her role models taught her to be strong and independent which led her to living and working all over the world; USA, Nordics, Greece, Netherlands and Brazil.
After working intensively in corporate culture, she suffered severe burnout which made her sick for years. Both her illness and earthquake experience made her reevaluate what's important in life.
Siv gave up her successful career in management consulting and HR to pursue her dreams. She has climbed the 7 summits, 5 out of 7 of the world's tallest volcanoes, and is on a mission to the North and South poles. Siv is proof that by having the courage to follow your heart, you can get what you want. Therefore helping others achieve the same through her talks, workshops and expeditions is her mission.
